Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the International Association of Universities of Physical Education and Sports and the Latvian Academy of Sport Education we have the honour to invite Bachelor, Master and Doctoral program students of your universities to participate in the International Conference «University Sport: Health and Prosperity of the Nation» to be held on 21-22 May 2013 at the Latvian Academy of Sport Education in Riga. We hope that young scientists from different countries in a friendly, casual atmosphere will present and discuss their ideas, research results and experiences of using them in practice to improve the quality of life.
ORGANIZING COMMITTEE

1. University sports in the value system of modern society.
2. Functional and pedagogical control in modern sport.
3. Rehabilitation and improvement of athletic performance in the complex preparation of athletes.
4. Student sports movement: experience, problems and perspectives.
5. Management processes in sport and tourism industries.
6. Sport as a way of rehabilitation and recreation.
7. Modern technologies of physical culture, sports and tourism coaching specialists.
8. Motor activity and student health.

Requirements for preparation of publications
Volume – up to 5 pages A4 format (210×297 mm), including references (no more than 10 sources), tables and figures.
Font — Times New Roman, 12.
Line spacing — 1 (Single), justified the page without hyphenation.
Margins — 30 mm (each side).
Title — capital letters, Bold, Times New Roman, 12, centred.
Name and surname of the authors — Times New Roman, 12, right justified.
University name (no abbreviations), city, state — Times New Roman, 12, right justified.
Article structure — introduction, methods and research organization, results and discussion, conclusions.
Submission of publications — in electronic form: e-mail: magistr@lspa.lv
Articles will be published in the author’s version.
The materials which will not meet the requirements will not be considered and will not be returned to the author.
